This Privacy Policy explains how Zavyi (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our mobile application and this website. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us: your name, date of birth, photos, bio, interests, preferences and messages.
• Verification information: your mobile number, government ID, a liveness selfie and a video call recording. ID documents are used solely for verification and deleted after review.
• Information collected automatically: device details, approximate location (with your permission), and usage information such as which features you use.

How we use your information

• To create and verify your profile and show it to other verified members.
• To suggest compatible people and improve our matching.
• To keep the community safe: detecting fraud, enforcing our guidelines and responding to reports.
• To communicate with you about your account, matches and support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We never sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the app (hosting, verification, payments, analytics), with law enforcement when legally required, and with other members only as part of your public profile.

Your choices and rights

• Pause or hide your profile at any time from Settings.
• Control location, notification and photo permissions from your device.
• Export a copy of your data or delete your account and data from Settings.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. ID documents are deleted after verification is complete. When you delete your account, we remove your profile immediately and delete remaining data within a defined period, except where we must retain it for legal or safety reasons.

Cookie Policy

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for it to function. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this section.
